The weather was incredible...

And it was time for the Yearly Ski Race...
Nine brave skiers...
and some officials...ready to help the ones that needed help...

...youngest 2 1/2 years and oldest 17...
Rules... age split in half..and that was how many laps you had to go!!
No wonder we older didn´t ski...
The prize...chocolate medals for all...
Easter Day... traditions to eat eggs...and the children painted them...

Easter Sunday ... brought us sunny weather again...
so we spent the day outside ...
barbecuing sausage and bread...
Yummy!!!
Monday out again... more sun!!!
And on Tuesday morning we went home ...
And more wonderful weather...we just had to spend time outside!!!
So Viktor and I have spent two days near our river to look at the swans...

Welcome back and it looks like you all had such a nice time. What lovely pictures! Can't believe how much snow you are still dealing with there.... tulips and daffodils will be coming soon :o)

It looks so cold there. Can't believe you picniced in the snow! We love sausage sizzles here. (Bbq sausage in bread) They are routinely used to raise money.

It was so good of you to ask Mr. Snowman to your Easter holiday. Believe me we have had snow at Easter too just not that often...thankfully. But it looks like you had a wonderful time.

Love Mr. Snowman {sigh, it has been a long time since the snow were high enough for making a proper sized snowman...last winter it was only sufficient for a snowman 1/10th the size of yours ;o)} ~ he's looking so cool!

ReplyDeleteOh my god a ski race where you had to ski 1/2 your age in laps I would still be going. The weather looked glorious. Our Easter weather was wonderful also.
