Butterfly Garden...Finished

Ok.. a promise is a promise...

here it comes

The finished Butterfly Garden Quilt...

Well it was very windy this day so dear husband was very patient waiting 

for me to get at least one good photo.. and thats it...

Really liked all the green tones in this one..

 and a little brighter than my first one..

I know its up on the wall at its new owner..

 and she loves it.. 

and Im so happy for that!

 No other sewing here.. as I thought it would be...

maybe tomorrow..

Well well.. here I am..:o)

And believe me or not..

I HAVE SEWED!!

First...

I have done the quilting on Butterfly Garden...

Hooray!!

And I must say.. I had totally forgotten how wonderful it was to quilt on my Horizon...

I am amazed...

not a single thread breakage...no mishappening..

no nothing... just PURE fun!!

secondly...

Binding is on!!! 

Even more hooray..

Label is done..... clap clap!!

So I do have a quilt finished!!!

weather is brilliant today.. no rain...just some lovely sunshine!!

While working on the quilt...

I had company...but this time she enjoyed the sewing

much more.. and could relax on her new bed...

I made it from old jeans and old crocheted table cloths and 

filled it with millions of "foamballs"... 

dont know the right word for it!! :o)

Works Super!!

Thirdly ...

I looked into my scrap bin...

and decided it was time to use them up a little..

So a new project is started..:O)

Hopefully... it will be something to show soon...

not three weeks away..but soon!!! :o)

Chiropractor tomorrow...and a quilt to deliver...

Have spent lovely days at my parents place...

family get-together ...

my brothers with their families and my cousins from France ..

in a total of 23 people.. 

Yepp ... people everywhere ...and I mean it.. :o)

And I love it!!

One day we cousins spent a day together...

walking, picnicking and bathing...

It was a wonderful day!!!

Molly really loved it when it was so many people... 

always someone to play with...

and this day ... to dig and to bath ..

that was FUN!!!

Family Days are the best!!!

Are now back at my home...

and have spent some hours in my sewing room...

and have my Butterfly Garden quilt top together in one piece...

hip hip hooray for me!!

This quilt is more green than the first BG quilt I made....

Really love the green tone....

Now I just have to layer it.. and quilt it...;o)

and off to it´s new owner...

Hmmm.... 

dont know If I love this one more than the first one made..lol...
