More mail and Lussekatter...

Oh my goodness...I got more in the mail today... :)
Ok this one I knew was coming...
This is from one of my Pif participants ...
.... ( look at the wonderful stamps...)
...Fiorella in Italy....
she wanted to make something for Christmas for me... and I was so happy ...cause I know she makes the most beutiful country paintings...

And this lovely ( handmade) card and package came today...
...and ohhh...
...the cutest gingerbread men came with some Italian chocolate...
(these I will try out on Saturday... :)

I just had to hang them in the tree right away...
..they are lovely...

Thanks Fiorella... :L
... And DH have been in the kitchen today and baked "Lussekatter" typical for Christmas in Sweden...
Don´t know if these are baked in other countries...
And these are delicious...
It´s a wheat bread dough with saffron and raisins...
...Mmmm...they were very nice... :)

Otherwise I have been in my sewingroom...and not sewed a thing....had to find the sewingmachine first...
It had dissapeared behind Christmas boxes and other stuf I don´t know where to put...
and...almost done...pheewww... just a little finishing touches...and some more stars to hang in the windows...
And voila...think I will have a sewingroom I can sew in this weekend... if the spirit still is there...

Two days ago I had the saddest news...
My Aunt is very ill ... and will probably not make it...
the cancer has finally taken the last grip on her...
and it is so hard to just sit and wait for the most awful thing to happen...

My thoughts goes to my cousins...
Hope you two can be strong and find serenity in all this...
Love you...

  4. Hi Stina,
The gingerbread man ornament is lovley. she really did do a great job. And the Lussekatter looks so yummy. We don't have that tradition here in Australia. We do have mince pies and Christmas fruit cake though and of course plum pudding!

So sorry to hear about your Aunt.
