It was cold....

 - 37 C ( -35 F)  one night... brrrr...but 

despite that we had a fantastic time at my parents!!

Days just flew by..and suddenly it was time for us to go home... 

just like that...

12 days just said ...SWWWIIISSSSCCCHHHHH.... :o)

*...Christmas Eve came...*

we celebrated the day at my Brothers house...

with lots of 

FOOD...:o)

and the nicest company of all... family!

Christmas food always to long for .. and it tasted as always

...soo good!!! :o)

Santa came...

a fast one this year....stress must have caught the Santas too..:o)

Christmas presents...!!

A lovely Christmas Eve spent with Family..

and I think everyone felt they had been nice this year too..

Rested a few days ..and then Petra and her boyfriend Jimmy came...

( no rest..lol) 

and then it was time for the BIG Wii- Contest ...

New games that Viktor had in Santas sack...

Wii Party and Slap shot was played to everyones amusement!

A few more into the games than others..lol...

Then one evening..something "exciting" happened... 

lots of noices...like an engine... and lights all over the farm house...

(And I mean this.. my Mum and Dad lives out in the nowhere.. 

no lights at all.. no other houses... just alone...

so the light show and the sounds were a bit odd...:o)

we all rushed out in -25C  (-13F) no outer clothing ... and gosh.. 

a helicopter was hoovering all over the place...

-what I thought.. bankrobbers... the police... ???

(too many movies I think...;o)

But a helicopter it was.. and it emergency landed right there on the farm..

So out in the cold with camera!!! ;o)

This is the talk of this years Christmas... :o)

Had one day out.. otherwise we were mostly inside...

by the fire and played games and just had 

a very nice time with family!!!

So nice to catch up with oldest daughter a bit...

today she is traveling back to the south of Sweden again... :o(

*...New Year...*

spent with my brothers family ..until we had to go home ..

a little calf was to be born... so the cow needed to be looked for.

We melted tin this year too... 

and prophesied how the new year would be...

A bit of fun.. 

 I always gets boats... 

every year.. and still I havent been on a boat somewhere.. 

maybe this year..:o))

So this is what I have been up to....

I sure have..

I even tidied up in the sewing room yesterday..

and have one little quilt ready for quilting...

mended Viktors Heating Bunny today...

Potatoes.. and no sewing...

Just a little sign of life from me...

Neck is better but not good.. been to the doctor...

Moms orders... ;o) to check my blood pressure.. it was OK..:O)

Still headaches.. and they will be better when neck is ok.. 

so that is what it is!!

Last weekend we went to Arjeplog for the Yearly Event

The Potato Picking...

And this year every thing worked just like that.. in a blink everything was up...

Friends and Family  joined in...in all I think we were

19 people... :o)

No I didnt pick one single potato...

I cooked..:o)

Fun with all the cousins... 

all my brothers kids were there...

(while some parents enjoyed themselves in Rome, Italy...:o))

The kids had so much fun.. they were dirty.. but so what.. :o))

Upcoming weekend.. first date with my Craft and Design class in Kalix...

We will felt and dye yarn...

It will be lots of fun..:o))

New Year.. Wii ...and gifts...

Santa gave Viktor a new game for his Wii

for Christmas present...

and it certainly have been played...

during the cold days...

 (with sore arms as a the result)

At New Year my second brother and his family joined us...

So we were all siblings  with families this Year..and it was fun...

It isnt so often we can spend time together like this...

Made my Mum smile a lot....

We made dinner... three-course meal...

*Shrimp cocktail

*Three different fillet... pork, beef and chicken

with tzatsiki... and green cheese sauce

Potato casserole

* Chocolate Mousse with daim...

YUMMY!!! :o)

We all had fun melting tin at New Years Eve...

( a tradition n my home since I was a kid)

Melting in the fire... and then quickly pour it in cold water...

The figure is then watched closely

 and it is supposed to tell what the New Year have in

mind for us...

Viktor got a figure with his arms stretched up in the air...

maybe a lot of wins this year in tennis...???

I got a flower... ( I hope..:o)

Never had a chubby figure like this one..

Mine always used to get long and thin...

Anyway it is fun and the kids love it!

New Years Day.. I went home...

And when I got home..

A gift was waiting for me...

Ohh,,, I got CANDY!!!!!

And she also gave me a kit and pattern for

Had a really nice time with my parents and my brothers family....
