My 4SQS Quilt...

First of all...
my girls and I want to thank all of you who have left comments about the tragic accident with their little sister... They were very happy to know that there is so many wonderful, thoughtful and sweet persons out there thinking of their sister and her family...
Thanks to you all!
The doctors are trying to save whats left of her foot and we hope for her best.

The world stood still for some days ...
...but I managed to finish my 4SQS "Summer"...
...I´m very pleased how it turned out..this is true summer to me... daisies..blue skye and green grass... hope my partner will like my quilt! Infact I´m having a really hard time separating from this one... :)
For the moment I´m working with the label and hope to finish it soon...

This swap have been so fun to participate in ... I recommend all of you to do this...you learn so much of yourself and challenge yourself to do things that you probably hadn´t done...
So go ahead....next time... :)

Peg...this was 1 finish from me....add that to the challenge!!!
Now I can start to think about my next Swap...the Cup Cake Swap...and Linda...I have plans for you...hope I can start in a couple of days... when things get back to a little bit normal...if they ever do...

At last but not least..I know my Norweigans friends have had a wonderful Saturday together and sewn on their ANGELS so please take a look at May Britt, Ida, Hanne and Inger Lise

And I hope that you all who are working on the Angels or searching for the book and are about to start this quilt...Good luck to you all...
A wonderful surprise will wait for someone that are finished by the 1st of January...

Sneak Peek and quilting

Some progress was made in the sewingroom... ;)
...I compleated my top for the Four Seasons Quilt Swap...
good to have it in progress...need to think a little of how to quilt it...
handquilt or not... colour of thread ...AND HOW!!!
Will have it on the wall for some days and hope I can come up with something...
...while wondering on the quilting for the little summerquilt...I took up another quiltingproject...My Quilter´s Journey...I know it´s not finished yet...think I promised this spring...and can´t say it spring now ...even if it´s cold...

...I love to quilt with perle cotton thread...really like the look of it...
And have worked so I only have one block left now... Woo hoooooo!!
Think I made a promise not to start my Butterfly Garden until this one is ready...and that promise I have kept!! At least that is something... ;)

Joined Sharon´s Cup Cake Swap the other day in a moment of weakness...or maybe it´s not...I don´t know...Deadline for that one is the 18th of August ...
Aaarrggghhh...I´m absolutely out of my mind...!!
Right in the middle of our vacation plans...and my daughters move ...pheew...need a secretary soon to keep track on my commitments!!!

More Angels...

Guess if I was tired the day after Cyber Stiching Day...
maybe I´m not as young as I think I am... ;)

Got 3 more members to Angel Story Club...first Nadine...and Peg...and Yvonne ... she posted me some pictures of her completed top ( Yes it´s finished...but not quilted) and some of her wonderful Angels... you will find some more here... and I also know that Inger Lise has started on hers...so take a look at her wonderful angels!!

Some of you are still hesitating to join...cause you haven´t started on them...but most of these quilters haven´t started on theirs...
All we want to have is our Angel Story Quilts... :)
No matter how long it takes... Ok for me it does...but I have worked on it for more than 2 years!!!

...and I have cut out most of the squares for the quilt...can´t wait to start with the layout...one of the moments I like the most...

...Today I started with new energy with my 4SQS...finished the background and started to draw some flowers...tried out some in fabric... back on track again...and it feels good!
We got a little sweet visitor for the night...
Viktors cousin...Jarl 3 years old wanted to have a sleep over at his Aunt and cousin...
and tomorrow the next "gang" is coming... my brother and his wife and their
3 children ( 8 and the twins will soon be 6) will stay the next night...Oh my ...where to put everybody... ;) Guess I will come up with something...!!
So NO sewing for some days now...but I want to wish you all a wonderful week and Happy Sewing!!!

Brainstorming...

Today I´ve started to brainstorm a bit...started to fiddle with my fabrics...need to start on my Four Seasons Quilt Swap...don´t like to have so much just hanging around...
so this is my start...don´t know where it will end...but it´s a start!!
Maybe this is not a FSQS quilt at all...
...who knows... ;)
