Firstly I had set on making the lampshade 

With Granny Squares...

Changed idea when seeing the Grannies together...

Wanted them for a blanket instead...

So a lot stripes was the new idea!!!

And it was FUN!!!

Wasn't sure about mixing all kind of colours...

So I went for my new love..

Pink and orange!!!

And I LOVE it...

Just need to paint the foot white...

Someday..:0)

Now I can sit here and just relax...

Or whatever I want to..

And just be happy...

And it makes a pretty pattern on the wall too...

Great to finally have something 

FINISHED...

Odd feeling...:0)

But a GOOD one!

Yesterday I got a most wonderful win in my mailbox...

Hello ...

March is here.. 

and believe me.. its like music in my ears..:O))

Still not doing anything in my sewing room...

still having trouble with my five minutes...

but it´s ok.. it will come!

Am finishing up things at my work instead...

started the yellow little bird last year...  

and decided it needed some friends for a tree this Easter...

These are so much fun to make.. even if I struggle.. they get done!!

Used left over cotton yarn!!

Its a pattern from Attic 24..

so easy and fun...

And these mittens I started a month ago and they are finally finished...

Using all small leftover yarns ...

and I think they really have some attitude....:o)

Love it when they aren´t the same!!

 And when going to bed the other week..

 I remembered I havent showed this lamp shade I made out of old bed linen...

and I must say I love the light and how the monogram

 shows up when the lamp is lit...

Sunnier days have arrived...

at least it feels like that..

not that cold either...

Could it be..

that spring is on it´s way????

OHOH.. I know ..lots of snowstorms is yet to come...

cold nights.. ...

But on the almanack it says

Roses....

First of all ..

A big bunch of roses to my daughter and boyfriend.. 

for the lovely dinner they made for us last week...

Prosciotto ham, melon and mozzarella...

Salad, homemade potato salad.. yummy...

grilled pork or and chicken....

and lovely Panacotta desert...

It was all so good... 

Thankyou sweethearts!!

It was very much appreciated..

hope this was a new tradition..;o)

Heavy rains in the middle of June... 

made me realize I needed new rubber boots...

(got kind of wet on one foot..:o)

And lookilook...

I got PINK ones!!! :o)

And talk about ROSES...

Miss Molly..she loves to pick flowers...;o)

Thats why I decided..

no flowers this year...lol..

And she really have an eye for the pink roses...

they must be tasty..:O)

And just to show you that I am doing something crafty...

I crocheted myself a little rose  to wear..

( Yes Molly likes this one too..;o)

And  hooray.. I have finished all stitcheries on Butterfly Garden...

Been home today with horrible headaches..

too little sleep...

At work last week I up cycled an old sofa....

sent a nervous little boy to school this morning...
new school and new teacher...

and can you believe that little boys hands have helped a little...

nothing much to report from the sewingroom...
seems to me that when the sun shines..Im out

Just left everything on the sewingtable... and believe me...it is still there..not finished...
so NO finish for me during April..ahh shame on me...

Found this beauty on the road to the Covered Tennis Courts...
"Coltsfoot" ..I hope...is the english word for our "Tussilago"

Last of April we celebrate "Valborgsmässoafton" and the Kings birthday...
but we were in no mood for joining the yearly fires this year.. we did see
"The Yearly Channel Race Swim"

...this year it was a good year...
not so much ice... just a couple flakes of ice and not so cold in the water...
heard it was about +1-2 C ( 35 F)...
Think the race is about one km...
This year my DH workplace had a team...
so we were there to cheer them on...

Otherwise the weekend have been filled with a lot of tennis...
Viktor played ...and got to the finals ... lost..but was so happy for his new trophy...

Worked some on my hexagons...
slowly getting more and more done...

...have some not attached yet...
hopefully they will be by the end of the day...
