Summer is here... :o)

and boy do that feel good or WHAT!!! :o)

Seem to get longer and longer time between my blogposts, 

really need to shape up!!

Hope I can do that!!

Ok we have had all kind of weather.. sunny and warm days and already had our share of rain for June...

I dont care as long Summer is here!!! :o)

So happy to have the PIF gifts sent and received... 

More than a year late.. yikes...

so so happy I could make something and send!!

 I recycled old tea towels and old tablecloths, cross stitched and stamped on fabric and just played around

to make gifts my PIF Girls... 

It was FUN...

and I actually sewed some ... felt like ages and so it was!

Made bags from old swedish tea towels...

Tennis school have started... but 

 today he is sick...
high fever .. nothing else.. strange!!
Having trouble getting the fever down..
Poor guy!!

Molly is growing quickly...

am sewing on Butterfly Garden and are working on the the last stitcheries...

I´m still here...

Time really flies too fast during Summer...

To work also has its part..
but everything goes really well...

In fact my job is perfect...
work at a recycle place where I shall be in charge of
the fabrics...

and try to keep them organized and also make up new products to sew..
well that isn´t my strongest side...
but I think I will have lots of fun!!

But the work also have a good thing...
or DH think something else... wonder why???
I find lots and lots of things...
so Is this Bargains or Junk????

*Found one perfect storage... Widget locker for my threads... 20 kr ( $ 2.73)
all I have to do is to wind the threads on bobbins...pheeww...

*One big Chip Basket... free
perfect storage for unwashed fabrics...
pheeww... need to do this!!

And it was perfect when having Seved here..
we used that one moving him in the sun to sunbath him...
so his yellowness would go down...

*One wooden Laundry basket... 10 kr ($1.36)
well couldn´t resist it..

And add a wooden bench outside for 20 kr
which we used at the party we attended two weeks ago...
Definitely Bargains.. I would say!!!

The weekend was filled with Tennis
High temps in Sweden..
and what a perfect name on the tournament...Riviera!!! Perfect...
Singles and Doubles for Viktor didn´t go too well...
but he had fun...
But most fun he had with these guys...
Final in Generations Double...

Second place...and a new trophy!!
The sweaty one is my DH....
guess he worked hard...
Viktor he said.. wow.. I am little!!!! But I´m good!!!

After admiring Ingrids wonderful Needle case and Sewing Case...
she wrote to Cathy Penton (The designer)...
and asked if she had any patterns left..but no ...
but she agreed to make a copy for me..
and do I have to say I´m in heaven!!!
The Needle Case and the Scissor Case are so so lovely...
and Ingrid also sent lovely fabrics ..lovely stripe fabric!!!

I sure didn´t get that at first...
My eyes just blinked and had to write and ask again...

Two PIF´s delivered....

and one I am still working on...
So Linda.. sorry you have to wait for yours a little bit more...

So if you remeber from a older post that I was making something...
and it looked like bread...
read this post...
It wasnt.. you knew that didnt you...
it was arms to my Angels...
Finished them last week and sent the PIF´s out to new homes...

thought that the one I sent to Italy would arrive first.. but nah.... it didnt
It was quicker to travel to USA!!!

This one I sent to Fiorella in Italy...

I used a pattern from Anne-Pia Godske Rasmussen ... just changed the quilt a little bit and stitched a little Friendship heart instead!
And made a little pincushion of scraps with
a little crochet flower...

And this one travelled to Sherri in Usa...

Sure had so much fun making these ones...
Anne-Pia has so lovely patterns...

And I am happy that they have arrived safely and being
loved in their new homes...

So off to another project...
Swap with LYN...

Had a little curious visitor the other day...
dont know if it is a he or a she... but cute and not at all afraid...
searched for birdseed beside our birdhouse...

And spring has come a long way now... its getting greener and greener
every day... Finding more and more flowers during my walks...

...but in my sewingroom it is no activity at all...ok almost none...
the sewing mojo is gone....
dont know where I dropped it???
