Oh my goodness.. I did it again...

pheew.. why should it be so hard to post on the blog nowadays!"!!!

Well well.. here I am..:o)

And believe me or not..

I HAVE SEWED!!

First...

I have done the quilting on Butterfly Garden...

Hooray!!

And I must say.. I had totally forgotten how wonderful it was to quilt on my Horizon...

I am amazed...

not a single thread breakage...no mishappening..

no nothing... just PURE fun!!

secondly...

Binding is on!!! 

Even more hooray..

Label is done..... clap clap!!

So I do have a quilt finished!!!

Will take photos today of the finished quilt...

weather is brilliant today.. no rain...just some lovely sunshine!!

While working on the quilt...

I had company...but this time she enjoyed the sewing

much more.. and could relax on her new bed...

I made it from old jeans and old crocheted table cloths and 

filled it with millions of "foamballs"... 

dont know the right word for it!! :o)

Works Super!!

Thirdly ...

I looked into my scrap bin...

and decided it was time to use them up a little..

So a new project is started..:O)

Hopefully... it will be something to show soon...

not three weeks away..but soon!!! :o)

Chiropractor tomorrow...and a quilt to deliver...

Hi there...

Still here... 

 More  colds have been going around here.. 

Viktor mostly this time... 

Hope for some change soon....

Getting pretty tired of  being sick...

So I am desperately looking for signs of spring everywhere.. and this is what 

was happening on my little street today!!

So much snow on the streets that they are too narrow

so snow has to go... before it starts to melt....

And this is what they have come up with..

never seen it before..

Spring is coming..... :o)

And still some are working on my hearts...

Sewing have been done... 

in between everything...

Not the things I had hoped for ... but I started My Schnibble 

for this month

"Roundabout"

I decided to work with a charmpack and one Jelly roll..

So I started with enlarging the pattern so I could use the strips 

in the Jelly Roll...

Edit:

Fabric line = Porcelaine

But when progress came along I knew I had to make the quilt a little bit different...

Larger YES...

wanted a lap quilt for me..

Just for me!!!

The fabrics were to busy to be together.. so I added sashings...

and used the solid strips in the Jelly cut in to squares in between....

So this is the result for my Roundabout

that became a

"Turnabout"

Sometimes a girl has to do what ever pleases her... :o)

So I am a little bit sorry for not sticking to the pattern... 

but happy that I didn´t ...:o)

This weekend was to be spent with my quiltingfriends

"Kviltarna"

but it seems like I won´t be able to go..

Lars is working extra... 

and Viktor is sick... 

Well.. maybe it will all solve.. haven´t quite given up just yet...

Otherwise  I will be here by my sewing machine this weekend!!

Back to work...

after two weeks with a cold...that still havent let go of me...

sigh..

a bit tired...
but it can of course be because I have been a bit stupid too...

You know..

lots of snow on the roofs...

doors that wont open because of that...

soo.. what did I do...

I did tackle the garage door...

(holding my fist just on the lower ribs)

and OUUACHHHH...

I hurt my ribs... :o(

I havent been to the doctor ..yet... :o)

Please be kind to me..

I know.....stupid.. but thats how it is...

Well.. anyway I did go to work today..

Good of me..or not... ;o)

Enough of that...

First signs of a change in the seasons...

Melting snow..:o)

but there is so much snow...

 I think we will have snow here until May...

Have worked slowly on things while I have been at home...

 secrets...

And started something new...

which I wasn´t supposed to do

But you know how it is...

...lol...

And one more thing..

I opened up my first Jelly Roll..;o))

Hope I can sew some this weekend...

It hurts a lot bending over the sewing machine..:o(

but they say it is worst the second week.. right..???

What we did this weekend....

between catching a cold and just relaxing....

The trees needed a cut...

So we got loose in the "forest"....

...and let some light come in...

After that we were tired... 

ok.. me and Viktor...

and no wonder...

we were sick both of us..

coughing and being tired....

Sunday I did this...

and I had so much fun...

And its a secret too...

Was home today with Viktor.. 

and thought of all the sewing I could do...
