and the Yellow Room....

In this room I decided to have a quilts with a little bit more colour...
well....have in mind Stina colours...:o))
Some you might have seen...some may not...
And I´ll show them anyway!!!

ok.. first corner... I hung three little quilts made from a pattern made by
Cheri Saffiote Payne

"Bless your Heart 1"

"Faith, Hope and Love"

These three quilts is some of my very favorite quilts...
they just are..:o)
Always makes me smile when I hang them...

"Bless Your Heart 2"

Next to these...
I hung another quilt made from a pattern by Leanne Beasley

"A Quilters Journey"

 Another favorite...
And everything written is so true!!
Thanks Leanne for designing  such wonderful quilts for us!!

In a basket on the floor I had my  quilt made in browns, creme and pink...
Pattern from a Swedish Designer Tyger & Ting

"Old Love"

Of course I had to have my little Punch Needle pictures at the show that I made for my Mom and Dad... for their 70th birthdays....

"Needle Punch Pictures"

Pictures drawn by my son Viktor and punch needled by me..
another fun mother and son project...  :o)

And my first quilt made out of a Leanne Beasley pattern...

"Leanne´s House"

This quilt gave me such joy to make and it was with a lot of hesitation I had it out for sale... but I am so happy to have it sold to a wonderful woman in Scotland...
Hope she will find it as pretty in her home or at her granddaughters...
Just need to fix the label for her..;O))
(Note to me.. DO IT!! )

It is just.. that I need to make myself a new one!!!  :o))
Right..:o)))

Well that will have to be all from me tonight.
am a little bit tired.. no not a bit... VERY...
not fully recovered from my flu and last night I thought
we were going to have to build an ark... dont know how much rain that came in the storm last night.. but it was a LOT!!!
And the thunder... gosh.. I couldnt sleep a wink!!

So see you..

wanted to say a few words...

Ok..then...were you finished..???
There have been so much excitement here since they were drawn..
can you belive me all the noise they have made..
and the cackle...... mhmmm...

So we are very pleased that ...
... the picture is finished...
..framed and soon delivered to Grandpa...

My first finished needle punched project.. wow..I have had so much fun with this
and Viktor he had just as fun as I!
The only problem will be...
giving it away...
So I guess there will be more drawings to punch needle in the future...

I hope you all will have a great time during EASTER...
We will be spending some days at my parents place ...
celebrating dads birthday...
enjoying family and hopefully spend some lovely days outside...
So Im hoping for lovely weather..no snowstorms... no cold days...

HAPPY EASTER...

This is a good life...

...Even if this is the view for me ...
(still wait for all this to melt away)
...sitting outside...enjoying the warm sun...
...listening to the birds singing...
and drinking my tea...
...enjoying homemade bread with cheese on...

And after that just sit in the sun relaxing...
maybe a piece of chocolate...Mmmmmm...

And some creative work...
...this time...
punch needle...
My son drew these roosters "Kurt" and "Sture" for his grandfather´s birthday
... and I decided to punch them into something...
think I will frame it...

On Thursday I had a lovely package in the mail for me...
(btw...do you see "Kurt" and "Sture")
a package that also took its time to come and Melanie...the sweet Angel...
was worried that there was a mailman quilting with my lovely gift...
but it came...
And I just love these fabrics... pink and blue lovely Homespuns from Moda
...and a "Waters Edge" Charm Pack... woohooo!!!!
Thankyou so much Melanie...

Hope you all have had a wonderful weekend...

Do you remember...

this little picture...
...Now I can tell you the secret I knew...
It has hopped over the Ocean to it´s new home...
HERE...
It will have a wonderful new home and a fantastic owner...
and I ´m so happy that I could give her a little
...Happy Easter Surprise...
Pat has been the most generous and a wonderful friend...
Some of you might remember a story about a package never coming ...
taking its own travel to Israel before deciding to come to me...
Well short story...
thanks to Pat I got these lovely fabrics... that were just perfect for
Easter... and the Bunnies ...they were so cute...
think they were a perfect match!!
And what do you think happened...
Yes the other package arrived too.. well a bit late...but it came...
So we joke about this ...
when a package is late... that it might have taken a little trip to Israel...
"Bunny Tales"
Pattern by Jo Ann Mullaly
Thanks for a fantastic friendship Pat!!!
I have started on a Bunnyquilt for myself too... stitched two blocks... and then I got distracted ...
started to sew something else... and sewed the pincushion and yesterday evening I started to punch needle...
And oh so much fun this is...
I sure hope Im doing this right...
but I think there is a bunny ...when I turn this whole thing and take a little peek...
...might have used too few rows for the lettering...or maybe I could have used three threads... well I guess I have to learn a lot...
One thing I know ..I will have a lot of fun while learning..
thanks to you Ginger...
Better get back to some punch needleing...have a background to fill...
See you...
