More gifts...from friends ...

This time from my lovely friends from former work...

They came with a huge pink bundle...

filled with lots of pink recycled things...:0))

An Easter egg filled with

buttons ...ribbons and pink threads...

Lovely old laces...handmade...treasures!!!

A pink and lovely bundle...filled with

all sorts of things...

It was super fun to receive all this!!

Maria and Tommy also gave me...

a pretty note book and colourful pencils...

so I can fill it with new ideas...

And while thinking of new ideas....

why not brew myself a nice cup of tea....

With these new to me tea brand...

Tripping again...

After finishing Snöfrid's quilt...yes it is finished ...

and delivered tonight..:0)

I started to tripping my way around the world again

...decided that I ought to take a look into my old fabrics and see what I could find there...so a lot of fabrics were cut into strips and hung up to see if they would match my newer ones...

Think they will!!!! :0))

Started with these ....

Well I couldn't resist any longer... I am doing what almost everyone is doing....

...Scrappy Tripping Around the World...

There are Flickr groups and lots of followers on

Instagram #scrappytripalong

showing lots and lots of wonderful blocks...

So inspiration there is!!!

Started with these fabrics...

and had no actual plan on how I wanted it to look like

...accept but colourful and happy!

So one block were made one day....

And that block were followed by some more blocks....

And some more...

It have been so much fun...

Just picking some nice fabrics and don't think that much if they will work together or not...well some I thought...no that will not work...but they have become almost the best ones!!!

Really long to come home to make some more blocks...

I really do!!!

(Are at my parents this weekend...

waiting for brothers child number four to be born)

A colour fix...

 Kitchen sofa desperately needed a new cover...

...

Went to my trustful fabric shop...

My own fabric closet

and found an old but oh so wonderful curtain

With wide stripes in red, orange and pinks...

PERFECT!!!

When the cover was finished...I realised that the pillows

Didn't match at all...

So what to do..

A raid through my beloved fabric closet...

where I found some great fabrics...

Remembered a fabric I had at my old work...

So a little trip took me there..

And I got a wonderful and just perfect fabric..

I'm so in love with it...

Orange and pink flowers

With a little touch of purple and white...

...L O V E L Y...

...S M I L I N G ...

...Ric rac and Pom Pom added...

And I have a cheerful and happy little corner

and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas !!!

So so pleased with this...

Happily I'm not angry for so long time...

Annoying!!!

Have been catching up and believe me or not...

 I have DELETED blogs on my reader...

there is no way I can keep up with whats happening...

 so this is what I had to do..

What have happened around here..

NOT MUCH!!!

Have sorted out and stored some of my retro fabrics in boxes...

with a lot of help from my big helper..

Miss Molly!!

I put them in and she took them out!! :O)

Have some plans for these fabrics...

but they have to wait!

Yesterday...

Me and Molly was out on a early morning walk.. 

and I just realized I might have to keep her leashed until it all freezes..

It was sooo tempting to run out and scare some birds!! :o)

Today.. 

I rest and take care of a sick Molly!!

 Hope to be sewing again soon..

Lots have happened here while I havent been around in Blogland...

Firstly 

My guys came home from a wonderful Mallorca trip...

They had a wonderful time...

lots of training.. but as you see lots of other fun things...

while they were away I was sick..

hah.. no surprise to me...

but what do a girl do then..

7 weeks to get here from Canada

Just long till I get some time to sew something with these...

But the big time M happening is this....

While My guys were enjoying themselves at Mallorca...

My Mother and I took a little trip...

The M Mission... 

 So how this all happened.. 

Im not really sure of.. but suddenly we are with a new baby and last week she came...

A puppy for Viktor... an early birthdaygift... 

Oh how Viktor have longed.. he have daydreamed... and borrowed books and read everything..and LONGED... 

and suddenly she came...

...Molly...

but ... as you know...

Puppies aint all that sweet all the time...

So she got a nick name

Monster Molly pretty quick..lol..

She really have given us some good laughs...

Our Miss Molly... :o)

She´s a Mix between 

Golden retriever and Labrador Retriever

2 months tomorrow...:o)

Hopefully she will grow up to be a lovely and sweet company for Viktor.. 

wise and calm...

(right now we really do wonder..;o)

So ..

You know this with sewing.. 

its pretty much on hold.. 

but I have sewn... and finally my Lovely PIF ladies..

will have something to be waiting for soon.. 

and I have started to sew something for Me
