Sick of being sick...

Sick again..fever and some kind of stomach flu...

So today I have slept and slept ... 

had my TEAS....

and tried to stitch on my Butterfly Garden 2

(didn´t go too well) 

And played around with blogger..

tried to Spring clean the blog...:o)

On the afternoon  it was the highlight of the day...

Have wanted to try and make some books from 

Anne Pia Godske Rasmussens book...

and needed those album rings...and now I don't have any excuse not to make any...

since Gudrun happily shared some with me...:o)

Cold ...cold....brrrr.... and Santa came by...

Woke up to a new day with cold weather...
-21 (-5,8 F) this morning....
Have kept myself warm with a lot of spicy tea and a fire....burning almost all day...
What would we do without the Fireplace heating stove... probably freeze... :)

At lunchtime I looked out through the window ...it had started to snow...
so thanks for that .... milder weather on the way...
And ohhh...something large was in the mailbox...and it was snowing on it...
Better hurry up and get it inside and see what it was...

Libby has been an angel and offered to sew me something that I had not...

I said ok...only if we could make a little swap...
I know my package has arrived to sunny CA... but you will have to wait until Libby posts... ;)

Oh should I open it... maybe wait until Christmas Eve... calculated on how many days it was left... nah... I opened it... ;)

I just said ahhh so many times that Viktor had to come and see what it was...
and as usual tears started to fall... :)

A week ago I got the email I have been waiting for...

Never belived the mail would come so quick... almost forgot to stalk my mailman...and today my lovely mailman...think I even said he was beautiful ( oh not to him... ;) ) when I emailed that I had received my package... :)

so I wrapped up the package... exciting isn´t it...
the first I saw was this lovely cup cake...look at the tiny stitches...can´t barely see them...beautiful workmanship... :)

...oh my goodness a lovely cup cake bag... and a card with one of her lovely bears...

...but there was more...
the bag must have been huge on the inside...don´t know how everything got in there...

...lovely buttons...pink pencils... ;) and some lovely fabrics...

...in lovely colours and with beautiful flowers on... just perfect...
and there was even more!!!! :)

...a pattern plus kit for a wonderful little Christmas stocking ... that she made herself...
(Oh my goodness we have some talented ladies out here in the world!!)

Still at home...

Yesterday my tennisguys came home from a FANTASTIC weekend in Stockholm...
They were tired...but they had a lot of tennistalk to share... ;)
And Viktor was so pleased with the trip so he said: -I want to move to Stockholm!!!
Oh...please not yet... give mom some time to get use to that first...
And he also said...I want to be as good as the big guys...so I will keep on with my practising all the time... so do you all know what this means...
Hmmmmm...
Yepp...more ball bouncing against cupbooards and doors in the house...!!! :)
Ok...is this what I have to live with...so Ok...as long as he is happy!!
Yesterdays mail was a very happy surprise...
You who follows my blog know that I had some bad experience with a shop in USA earlier this year...and I had two very lovely ladies who tried to help me to get into contact with that shop....
It was Pat and Sharon... oh they phoned and phoned and no result what ever...and today this arrived...from Sharon...

Deadlines and a prize!!

One deadline has just passed for all Angel Story Club Members...and now it´s time to aim for the next one!!! January the 1st ...then we will see a lot of fantastic quilts ready!!
Oh I know that there are sooooo many of you who have struggled to finish the tops...
Jo in Tas almost made it... Bjorg... oh this was horrible...she cut herself with the rotary cutter badly... I feel so sorry for her...LADIES...take care and be careful!!!Please take your time and visit the blogs under the Angel badge and check out their progress...

Ok there were not so many who finished the tops...
Yvonne already had finished her top before joing the club...she is handquilting hers now...
Inger-Lise in Norway have her top finished... May Britt stayed up late at her birthday to finish her top...and I did finish in time for the deadline ...oh for that I´m grateful ;)
And I have promised a little prize for one who did finish in time...

Package arrival!!!

2 months and about a week
... this is the time this lovely package from Pat took to come to me... who do know where it has been...all we know is that it has been in Israel...but after that...who knows...Sure would like to hear the story... if it has been adventurous or just awful... :) But I am so glad it has arrived for Pat´s sake...hope she can relax now...

...when I told the story at the postoffice..they couldn´t believe me... cause everything was correct done...clear adress label and custom declared...but it happened... and have to wait for 17 workdays just to know something about it... they just shook their heads...and again...after knowing it was in Israel...have to wait 17 days again!!!! Never heard anthing like it!!
But it´s here...and do you want to see!!! :)

Yesterday was a really busy busy day... rain just kept on pouring down... take a look at the header... I got myself a little creek behind the house...one can think I lived in a rainforrest!!!
And in this weather we was to move Linda and move a sofa to my middledaughter Petra...!!!
Oh ...we wrapped that sofa up in three layers ... and hoped for the best... :)

...the car packed and the sofa wrapped... and the mailman came!!!!
